At Intentionally Great Learning Center (IGLC), we believe students who have had to persevere academically often demonstrate the greatest courage. The V.A.L.O.R. Program was created to support those brave learners.
Designed for a small cohort of 10 students, V.A.L.O.R. serves scholars who may be one or more grade levels behind in reading or math and are ready to grow. Through individualized instruction and targeted intervention, students discover how their unique, God-given brain learns best — and gain the tools to work with it confidently and successfully.
Led by an experienced Special Education Teacher and supported by a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional, this program provides:
Focused reading and math intervention
One-on-one and small group responsiveness
Personalized learning plans
Ongoing progress monitoring
Faith-centered encouragement that builds resilience and confidence
V.A.L.O.R. is designed for students with learning challenges — not behavior challenges — who have a desire to learn, and for families ready to partner with us in the work. Growth happens through collaboration, consistency, and commitment.
This is more than academic support.
It is a launchpad for students to uncover their genius, strengthen their confidence, and soar — in the classroom and in life.
