Intentionally Great

SUMMER PATHWAYS

Summer is a Pathway, Not a Pause

year-round learning

The IGLC Summer Pathways Program was created to give students a clear and purposeful route toward academic growth during the summer months. Designed for families who want to use this time intentionally, our program helps children strengthen foundational skills, build academic confidence, and stay prepared for what lies ahead. Each pathway offers targeted instruction and meaningful support, ensuring your child is not only learning—but moving forward with purpose.

PATHWAY TO MIDDLE SCHOOL

Destination: Success

Starting middle school can be a big leap—academically, socially, and emotionally. This pathway helps students entering middle school build the skills, mindset, and habits they need to walk in on day one feeling confident and prepared. This experience teaches students how to manage their time, stay organized, and advocate for themselves in a new learning environment.

Parents benefit from our Middle School Passage program as well with workshops tailored to the unique issues and concerns parents face as their students enter middle school.  Our program features include:

organization & time management

independent study skills

peer-pressure & group dynamics

self-advocacy & communication

social-emotional development

self-esteem & confidence

Strong reading skills unlock every other subject in school. The Literacy Pathways option gives students targeted support to boost comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary using strategies backed by science and proven in classrooms. Whether your child needs to catch up or wants to stay ahead, this pathway helps them make real progress.

Math is one of the first areas where students start to feel left behind—and summer is the perfect time to close those gaps. Math Pathways is designed to strengthen core skills, improve problem-solving abilities, and prepare students for what’s coming next. Your child will revisit key concepts, engage in hands-on activities, and learn how to think critically about numbers in a way that makes sense.

For families with high school students planning for college, the ACT/SAT Prep pathway provides expert guidance, proven strategies, and the structured practice your child needs to improve their score. We focus on both the content and the test-taking skills that drive results. With small group instruction, timed practice tests, and personalized coaching, your student will be equipped with the tools to perform with confidence—and step into the college admissions process with a stronger application in hand.
